The Museum of Contemporary Art

Located in downtown Los Angeles, MOCA is a private art museum with two buildings. The main building, MOCA Grand Avenue, was designed by Japanese architect Isozaki Arata, and The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA was designed by Frank Gehry. Founded in 1979, the museum houses a collection of approximately 8,000 pieces of contemporary art from the 1940s onward. The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, a renovated warehouse adjacent to the Little Tokyo Historic District, will serve as the venue for the JUMP exhibition. It is known as the venue for the Wonmi’s WAREHOUSE Programs, which focus on experimental performances and installations.
